LBCC and Buzzcycles are pleased to offer a Family Bike Ride EVERY SUNDAY. Whether you're looking for other cycling families to join up with or just looking to get out and enjoy the local cycle routes, the Family Bike Ride is a taster of our local cycle friendly routes.
From infants in Child Seats on the back of their parents bikes, to youngsters on Tag-a-Longs, the fair weather cyclists out there will be pleased to know that there is an organised and led ride just up their street!
We meet just at 11am every Sunday at Market Cross at the top of the High Street. The rides normally last a maximum of 2hours at a very gentle pace.
LBCC are pleased to promote the weekly Tuesday night Buzzard MTB rides. Starting off from Stockgrove Country Park visitor centre at 7pm, The Buzzards leave for an off road enthusiastic route out towards Woburn and surrounding trails.

See you on the trails!
Lumens Loonies is roughly a 13mph average speed – OFF ROAD mountain bike group. Some are riding to get fit, some are refining their mountain biking skills, either way it's a lot of fun!! We meet in Church Square at 7.30pm every Thursday night. We decide on where we’re going to go between those who turn up on the night. We normally ride out for approx 90minutes, find a pub to wait for sunset, then return to Leighton Buzzard for between 10.30pm and 11.00pm. Suitable clothing, very good lights and beer tokens are required!
Regular Riders are Regular in that we’re normal leisure cyclists and Regular in that we meet every week. We meet in Market Cross at 9am on Sundays. We discuss where we’re going to ride between those who turn up on the day. We then ensure that no one is left behind and we ride as a group to the chosen destination, usually taking in a selection of off-road and quite country lanes. We normally cycle for between 2 and 4 hours. We have lots of breaks to enjoy the views, the countryside and even an ice cream. Average speed is roughly 10mph, so nothing too strenuous! Newcomers are made to feel very welcome. This is an ideal starting point if you have a mountain bike but dont know where to go!
